Dead of Summer Music Festival

Presented by TPW Real Estate and Whirlygig Music, The Dead of Summer II Music Festival features four “grate” Dead bands in one day:

This event will be held on an outdoor stage–now in the grassy area of our Parking Lot B because of rain this week—with a view of Magic Mountain. Parking will be spread out in Lot A, part of Lot B, behind Lot B, a parking area on the access road across from Blue Gentian, and Lot C. So there will be a bit of walk from certain areas to Lot B. Handicap parking is in Lot B. The will be food vendors  within the ticketed concert area, and local craft beers thanks to festival sponsor Fiddlehead. It will be family-friendly with a relaxed vibe, while chilling and dancing to the Dead. The four bands will play from 2:30-10:30pm on July 10th rain or shine. Ticket are now $40 per ticket. Kids under 10 are free. Gate opens at 1pm for parking, with music beginning around 2:30pm. Please read below the list of prohibited items at the concert.

The Festival will be limited to no more than 600 ticket buyers, and it will sell out so there will be no day-of tickets sold Buy Tickets

Ticket check-in & wristband pick-up will be at the concert entrance in Lot B. Please have your ID ready. Also bring cash for all alcohol purchases as many vendors will not be taking credit cards. There is a cash machine at Black Line Tavern.

If you don’t want to sit on the ground bring a folding chair.

Live music is back and what better way to soak it all in than a summer afternoon and evening in the mountains listening to 4 Grateful Dead-oriented bands.

Allowed:

One Naglene type bottle or factory sealed bottle of water, 20oz of less; Folding chairs/camping chairs; Umbrellas–personal hand held so as not to block views of others; Cell phones; Binoculars; Blankets; Baby Stollers (although ground is rough and mountainous)

Prohibited:

Outside alcohol; outside food and drink (other than one factory sealed water 20oz or less); backpacks, draw-string bags, large purses, or dufflebags; coolers, picnic baskets, glass containers; professional cameras, video equipment and GoPros; whistles and air horns, fireworks and explosives; grills or open flame of any kind; firearms, knives, and weapons of any kind, including pocket knives; no drugs or drug paraphernalia; no pets(with exception of service animal
