THE ALPINE UPDATE

SPRING FLING SATURDAY

March 20th

Our St Paddy's party was a blow-out last weekend. Now it's time for Spring Fling on Saturday!

Greetings from Londonderry!

The first day of Spring is officially here, but we have had Spring-like weather for two straight weeks with temps consistently 40s-60s--it's been fun, but it eventually takes its toll on snowpack and trail count. That time has indeed arrived.

While less terrain is open now, we can still have plenty of fun with the challenge and creativity of springy/bare-patchy conditions, which makes even the easiest trails, a lot more interesting. This Saturday will again be warm and sunny for our Spring Fling Retro Day party on the slopes, deck, and in the tavern--we hope you join us with your best throwback ski outfits and classic Magic spring-time partying skills. There will be lots going on for adults and kids alike, which you can check out here.

And, don't think because it's been an early Spring that there can't be more snow in our future. In fact, up here this is "Fake Spring" because Winter usually makes it presence known again before March is out. And, next week looks like there may be snow chances with the colder weather. So keep on thinking it!
